My love for vintage continues. With comebacks of so many vintage trends on the runway, it makes me want to just go back in time! This outfit I'm showing you today is one of only a few of my outfits that is truly vintage. I absolutely love this look, and I didn't have to buy anything! One of my biggest tips for finding vintage pieces is to just scavenge your parent's or grandparent's closet! This beautiful World War II military jacket is from a family member, and I stumbled upon it while cleaning the guest bedroom. (The only benefit I've ever gotten from cleaning.. JK!) The details and structure of this jacket are absolutely amazing, and it's the nicest quality jacket I have ever owned. The jacket is a little big, but sometimes big isn't bad because I love the way the shoulders look when I wear it!
The neck scarf is something I found at my grandma's house because she always lets me look in her closets and at old jewelry! Neck scarves are definitely making a comeback! They're so chic to wear, and to wear them just tie it in a simple not or wear it like a bandana around your neck!
Advice: Don't be afraid to wear vintage to school. This look looks great with high waisted distressed jeans, brown suede or leather ankle boots, and a top knot bun! Own your style! Hope you find inspiration to find your own vintage gems!
