Reigning Trend: Suede Miniskirts

Over the past year I have created some sort of an obsession with mini skirts and suede. Suede is a very rich and warm textile that swept the 2016 runways. Designers have found ways to incorporate suede back into ready-to-wear clothing, and whether the suede is faux or real I can not seem to get enough of it. Although I find ways to wear miniskirts all year round I believe the best time to wear miniskirts, especially suede skirts, is in the fall! Miniskirts make you feel so confident because you get to show off so much leg. The obsession also comes from my continuing love for 70's fashion trends that I don't think will go away anytime soon for me. Something I love about mini skirts is how versatile they are. You can dress them down and wear them with chuck taylor's or sambas or you can dress them up with nice booties, suede mid calf boots, or flats with over the knee socks. One thing that can be tricky about mini a-line skirts is how they fit around your waist. In an upcoming mini post I will show you a few tricks I've came up with to make sure that the skirt always fits and looks proportionate to the rest of your outfit even if it is a little large on you.
