A Look Back on Fall '16 Edition

I know it is already December, and many of us have already begun our full on Christmas mode; but today I want to take a quick look back on this lovely fall we had. In Ohio at least we had so many beautiful fall weekends, and it was perfect for wearing miniskirts (I know I mention them way too much), cozy sweaters, vintage inspired dresses and jackets, the now ubiquitous sporty chic trend, and my all time favorite trend: anything SUEDE!! These looks I am showing you all today were some of my favorite typical fall outfits, and I know I will find a way to wear them in winter because one thing I always tend to do is mix and match seasons. This fall season I tended to side more with neutral colors, and the color black has been creeping into my wardrobe (mainly due to the sporty chic trend). However, I always need pops of color every now and then, so that is why I totally fell in love with an orange dress that reminds of a modern twist on the paisley and hippie trend that dominated the seventies. Before you go check out the looks, I also wanted to encourage and remind you guys to shop local! Two of these looks come from my some of my favorite boutiques in a town that has become so special to me: Yellow Springs. As much as I love shopping at fast fashion stores (H&M, Express, etc.), shopping local is a whole different experience. I hope all of you have had a fabulous fall and have enjoyed reading my posts about my favorite fall trends!
