Paint a picture: a sunny, blue sky, riverfront view of the city, families going about their Sunday stroll, weddings going on here and there, and 12 beautiful girls creating my most favorite photoshoot I have ever been a part of. Thinking of this day gives me nothing but joy in my heart, and makes me want to do it all over again. From models, stylists, to photographers, this shoot included it all.

The setting for this shoot was in Hoboken, and Hoboken has become my favorite place to go to (other than the city) since moving to Jersey. It has everything I could want: local boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and one cannot beat the location and views; New York is right across the river! I came across this photoshoot opportunity because my friend Paola needed help with a project for her graphic design class where her group had to create a certain style their image. They chose a women who liked to wear casual and simple clothes while having a few funky statement pieces in her closet that spiced her wardrobe up, while also not breaking the bank. Everyone's outfits were so refreshing and uber stylish. Paola did a phenomenal job at focusing on the details of everyone's outfits and bringing out everyone's individual style and personality. There was no way I could pass up blogging about this day, so I hope you enjoy everyone's funky outfits as much as we did! My advice for trying out that one piece you find at a thrift store (or anywhere) that you're not quite sure about, is to go for it! If you only wear that piece once that's okay, because the one time you do wear you will completely fabulous and have so much fun! As my style icon, Coco Chanel, once said, "In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different." This post will always hold a special place in my heart because from getting ready in Paola's room to relaxing after a long day at McDonald's, it truly represents a day in the fashion industry.
